Michael Dickinson is a glassblower, a teacher, as well, an instructor of glass.
Dickinson Glass focuses on really trying to bridge that gap between consumer and maker, where you're actually seeing the process, not only learning about how it's made, but also offering the chance to learn how to make it yourself.
Michael thinks that a lot of emphasis is now being put on the actual makers within wine country that are not just within wine. From woodworkers to chocolatiers to painting. Every kind of art is really, really brought to another level in Sonoma County, and he think it should be emphasized bringing more to Sonoma County, but also bringing appreciation and allow artists like himself to continue doing what they do.
